The 5 Key Questions to Ask Any Buyer

First, please understand that these 5 questions can be used anytime during the process. Having said that, the best time to use them is early in the process, preferably during a buyer consultation, where you and the buyer sit down and discuss needs beyond the typical price, square footage, and time frame issues. There are also other questions you can ask and ways and means to follow up. Future chapters/courses will deal with this.

Here are the 5 questions.

• What is important to you about the property you currently live in?

• What do you dislike about the current property you live in? What’s missing?

• Where do you spend most of your time at home?

• What type of activities do you enjoy at home? In your area?

• What are 1-3 (things, items, features) that you MUST have in a home or community?
